HE'S STILL IN ONE PIECE & SCOTT & I STILL LOVE EACH OTHER......

Amazingly, Jack has survived his first month with us! What is even more amazing is the fact that Scott & I still love each other despite the massive amounts of sleep deprivation which has led to some serious crankiness!!!! We can not believe he has already been here for an entire month. Everyday I look at him and think he looks so much bigger (and cuter) than the day before! Scott of course thinks he looks exactly the same since "all babies look alike" This past month has been more fun (and exhausting) than we could have ever imagined & we can't wait to see what the next month has in store for Team Saunders.

It Doesn't Get Cuter Than This!!!

He Survived Another Week With Us!!!

We had another busy week introducing Jack to more family & friends....

Jack meets Uncle Bobby & Aunt Mary!

Jack meets Aunt Celeste & Samantha!

Jack Meets Aunt Helen!

Jack Meets Fran & Loooooves the pumpkin basket she had made for him!

Then we were FINALLY able to introduce Jack to Uncle Dave, Auntie Krissy & Liam. When Scott & I moved, I put our webcam in a place "where I won't forget." I still don't know where that place is. MiMa was nice enough to let us borrow her camera for our very important date with our favorite family members in North Carolina. We were so excited to see Liam & could not believe how big he has gotten :( :( We also learned that Auntie Krissy mashes up vegetables and cooks them into muffins & tricks Liam into eating them. It was at that moment that I decided I will be the cool Aunt Kelley who give him a real muffin & he will figure out that his Mommy's muffins don't taste that good after all!!!

Liam blew kissies to his new cousin Jack

Saturday we went to Scott's last regular season football game. They played Pelham which is actually Nick, his best man's football team. It was chilly but we bundled Jack up and braved the cold to watch Daddy in action. Jack cheered the team on from the sidelines & when the game was finally over (they won 41-8!!!) he got the VIP treatment and took his first steps (or stroll, since he was obviously in his stroller) onto the turf field. I think it was a very proud moment for Daddy & it was really fun for me to stand back & watch!!

Saturday night, after the football game, Scott & I were able to go to the Smith's soup picnic, have some delicious food & a few cocktails! Jack was with MiMa & Pop Pop and we finally took advantage of my parent's offer to keep him for the night so that Scott & I could actually sleep. I felt totally guilty leaving him since he is only 3 1/2 weeks but the thought of a full night's sleep was delicious! After checking in a few times to see how he was doing, Scott & I went to bed at a ridiculously early hour & did not wake up once! When I called my mom Sunday morning to see how our little man did, she informed me that he slept for almost 6 hours through the night in the crib all by himself!!!! At home, he sleeps in the cradle next to me, so I am very excited to put him in his own crib in his own room. Needless to say I was a proud mommy of how well Jack was on his first sleepover!!! However, it was so strange for us to wake up and not have him with us so we probably won't be leaving him again for a while!!! Thank you MiMa & PopPop!

IT WAS A GOOD WEEK!

I'M SORRY MIMA!!!!

This is really embarrassing.... with all the pictures that have been posted of Jack & his family & friends, I never posted one of Jack with his MiMa. She should have been one of the first pictures since she was there when Jack made his grand entrance into the world!!! We Love You MiMa!

Jack's Busy Week.....

We started out the week with some snuggle time with Daddy

Auntie Kristin finally arrived from Las Vegas...

Then we had a very interesting first tubby time. Jack screamed and screamed and then screamed some more, than Mommy felt terrible so she cried with him, while Daddy just laughed at how ridiculous Mommy was being. Then, after all was said & done and Jack looked as cute as can be in his froggy towel.... he took a heaping poo!

So the night ended with lots of laughs and everyone went to bed happy....

Uncle Gary Boss came over & helped Scott change a very dirty diaper....

Today, on Daddy's day off, we had a very busy day. Jack got to play with his new football...

After football, we took a trip with Auntie Kristin to Matterhorn to find Jack his first pumpkin.....

THANK YOU!!!

I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to do this...this post is for my amazing sister in law Kristin who BLOGGED HER BUTT OFF while Scott & I were in the hospital waiting for Jack to get here. When we got home I could not get over how many posts there were and what an incredible job you did. It was so much fun to look at how you literally documented every step of the way, text messages & all. (of course our favorite was the 24 video) We wish more than anything that you, Dave & Liam were here to meet baby Jack and are so so excited to see you in December.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.... WE LOVE & MISS YOU VERY MUCH.

TGIF

Hangin out on Friday night with Daddy :)
