HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY JACK!!!!

I'm not writing much because if I do I will probably cry. Our little nugget is not so little anymore (but still very much nugget!) I can not believe he was born 6 months ago today. We are having so much fun watching him grow and fall in love with him more and more each day!

HAPPY 6 MONTH BIRTHDAY JACK ~ WE LOVE YOU!!!

ANOTHER BUSY WEEK IN THE LIFE OF JACK

Jack has had a very busy week and I have been off from work to enjoy it all with him.

On Sunday, Jack finally got to meet some Cortland friends! Nick & Lauren were visiting from Virginia and were nice enough to take time out of their busy schedule to come see us! I know they read the blog, so I'm excited to post some pics of them :)






It was great seeing you! We are so happy Jack got to meet you :) Maybe he will have a mini Chavis to play with someday ;)

One of Jack's new favorite things to do is float around in our big tub! I always pass by this little yellow tube at Babies R Us and finally caved in and bought it for him. It's the perfect size and he kicks his legs like crazy in the water. (and right now, Jack is the only person on the planet allowed to see me in a bathing suit!)





Wednesday was a perfect park day! It was so warm out & Auntie Daria called and invited Jack & I to play with her neice Giavana. They had fun playing on the swings & going down the slides. Giavana talked to Jack the whole time, keeping him informed of her every move! It was hilarious. It was "Oh Baby Jack...." all day long!






To end our great week, MiMa & I took Jack to check out The Little Gym. He was scheduled for his trial "Bugs" class. There are only 2 other babies in the class and they never showed. So that meant Jack got his own personal lesson! He played with bells, bubbles & bars! We learned some great exercises that we can do at home & how to encourage him to crawl. He loved doing flips (thank God Daddy wasn't there because he would have been shouting that "we are shaking his brain") and the bubbles fascinated him! I was prepared with lots of bibs & receiving blankets, expecting him to puke all over their colorful mats, however, he shocked us all & didn't puke once! He did so well that I ended up enrolling him for a whole "Bugs" semester. MiMa will get to take him until he is 9 months. After that, he will graduate to a "Bird" and there will be classes available on my day off and even Saturdays so Daddy can come too:) We are SO EXCITED!!!

Jack & Ashton Reunite!

This weekend, our favorite friends from Virginia came up for a visit with their gorgeous son Ashton. Ashton was born August 9th, about a month and a half before Jack. The last time we saw him was around Christmas time & it is crazy to see how much he has changed. Ashton is such a happy baby and we loved watching him & Jack play together.

On Sunday, while the daddy's played paintball, Amy & I took the boys to Van Saun Park. It was Jack's first time at the zoo (a very small zoo) and he even had his first ride on the swings!

We had such a great time with the Parker's this weekend & are looking forward to seeing them again this summer!
