Goodnight Moon

Pop Pop called this evening to ask if Jack was awake. Of course he wasn't but I asked why. He told me to take him outside so he could see the moon. Tonight, Jupiter and Venus were clear as day right next to the moon and it won't happen again for another 250 years! So Daddy & I so rudely woke Jack up and put him in his carrier for our own little "moonwalk"

Of course none of my pictures came out that great but it was a fun little adventure & we are happy Pop Pop called. Since he is so nauseatingly romantic, here is how MiMa & Pop Pop's moonwalk went ....

monkeydoodle04 (9:36:43 PM): right! he ran into the house before going to the village and poured a tiny glass of white wine, one of red wine and told me he had something to show me and took me outside and showed me the moon and venus and jupiter! he said we would see it again, together

monkeydoodle04 (9:36:53 PM): but not for hundreds of years

Nauseating.

After our walk, we made Jack's handprint/footprint ornaments for the tree. He wasn't thrilled to have Daddy pressing his hand down into the mold but he was a trooper and it was a "great success"
