Jack's 1st Trip to the Aquarium!!!

I have been wanting to take Jack to the aquarium for a while now. Scott always said he is too young and will just sleep through the whole thing. I of course disagreed. So yesterday, Mima, Jack & I went on a road trip to the New York Aquarium in Brooklyn, right next to Coney Island! Jack slept the entire way there and in the back of my head I could hear Scott saying "he's gonna sleep through the whole thing" lol. As soon as we pulled in & he was comfy in his stroller he woke right up and was ready for his adventure. The aquarium was dead & we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. This was probably due to the fact that it was SO windy. We had no idea that most of the exhibits were outside so we were not able to see the penguins or any of the feeding shows. We had a great time anyway and will just have to go back when it is warmer to see the things we missed. Jack stayed awake the entire time and seemed fascinated by everything. I think his favorite part was the walrus. It was a mommy & her baby and the baby was ENORMOUS. At birth, it weighed 115 lbs. and was 44 inches long! We spent a good amount of time watching them play and Jack followed them wherever they went. Despite the wind, it was a great day & I had so much fun watching Jack take everything in. Thank you MiMa for coming with us :)

(Warning, I took a ridiculous amount of pictures!)

After the aquarium, we had to jump back into the car & drive to Edison, NJ because our good friend Danny is up on a business trip. He has never met Jack so we were very excited for them to meet.
