SESAME PLACE!

Back in July, we took a "mini vacation" to Sesame Place! Scott's coworkers have been going with their families for the last NINE years!!! NINE YEARS! A joke was actually made that Scott & I weren't even legally allowed to drink when they started going... which I thought was hysterical. Anyway, we were so excited that they invited us to join in on their tradition. The age group for the kids was toddler to middle school, so I was a little unsure of how it would be with such a large age difference between Jack and the other kids. I assumed we would be limited to the really young sections of the park, but that was not the case at all! The kids all had a blast together and it was a lot of fun to watch Jack interact with them all. A HUGE thank you to the Crokes, Naughton's & McNamara's for including us (and the Motta's!) in your tradition! We can't wait for next year!!!

I'll let the pictures tell the rest....
As soon as we got into the park, we got right on line for the "rubber ducky" ride. It's one of those waterslides with the huge tube that probably 6 people fit on. We strapped the life jacket on Jack and down we went!!! He was totally unsure of it at first, but once we started moving, he was half happy, half terrified...clapping and whining at the same time. Once he got completely comfortable, he got drilled in the face with some water & that was it. The tears started flowing!! He survived his first big boy slide and even went on it again the second day & loved it!! (He is sitting on Scott in the picture, kind of hard to tell!)

He actually took this picture himself in the car!
